Florida-based medical manufacturing company launches equipment expansion at its Texas facility
WEST PALM BEACH, FL – July 26, 2018 – SYNEO, a leader in precision tooling and automation services to the medical manufacturing industry, announced today the completion of an expansion of the contract services lab in its Angleton, Texas facility.
Through this expansion, SYNEO has increased the quick-turn material processing capabilities of its contract services division and increased the breadth of material processing services offered, including cut-to-length services, hole-making, slitting, tipping, grinding and laser-based device marking.
SYNEO maintains an ISO 7 Class 10,000 Certified Clean Room and additional White-Room space for contract service processing, with specific gowning, booties, gloves, masks and footwear available to meet the specific needs requirements of the project.
Drawing on designs from the company’s standard Medical Machine and Catheter Punch platforms, SYNEO’s contract services division can process a wide range of medical grade materials, including single-lumen or multi-lumen tubing, wire-reinforced tubing and nitinol wires. The division provides solutions for R&D applications, as well as long-term production support on established catheter-based products.
“This expansion has allowed us to become a natural extension of our customers’ production capabilities by providing them with additional processing capabilities in short order when sudden changes in their respective capacity requirements arise,” said Tyler Wackman, SYNEO CEO.
